POW United States Soldier Bergdahl Observed Once Again On Taliban Video Clip
In June 2009 the Taliban in Afghanistan captured a U.S soldier from Hailey, Idaho named Bergdahl. Bergdahl appeared in video footage contained in a video launched this week by the Taliban. The Taliban had threatened Bergdahl’s life upon his capture, however a journalist who had been once held by the Taliban thinks he could be alright. The Taliban won’t allow someone to take out an payday loan to buy Bergdahl’s freedom either..

Probably the most recent Taliban video clip shows Bergdahl clean shaven. Of course, he also looked like he had been beaten quite recently. Bergdahl’s appearance within the Taliban video leads experts to believe that the footage was shot shortly after his capture more than 16 months back. If you include the video clip launched Wednesday, the Taliban has launched 4 videos with Bowe Bergdahl appearing in them. This has been in the 16 months after his Afghanistan capture. Other videos show him with facial hair. A longer beard is in some. The Taliban is expected to only be holding the one U.S. soldier hostage. Jalaluddin Jaqqani is a senior Taliban commander who is shown in the video giving a statement along with the appearance of the soldier and militant attack video clips.
Is Bowe Bergdahl cooperating with the Taliban?
In April, Bergdahl surfaced in a Taliban video clip denouncing the Afghanistan War and pleading to be released. In August, one of Bergdahl’s alleged captors told the Sunday Times that the American had converted to Islam and had taught him how to convert a cell phone into a remote detonator for a roadside bomb. Bergdahl was cooperating with the Taliban along with Afghan intelligence officials. The Bowe Bergdahl captor explained the American was really just pretending to be a Muslim to stay still living and the Taliban already knew all details given to them.

Bowe Bergdahl is safe, based on a journalist who was taken by the Taliban in 2008. Jere Van Dyk said that the Taliban likely wouldn’t hurt him in an interview with Idaho Public Television. Van Dyk was kidnapped by the Taliban, held 45 days and launched. He said the Taliban would make an effort to brainwash Bergdahl and pressure him to become a Muslim. He is still alive though as a valuable propaganda tool. By letting him live, Van Dyk said, the Taliban are demonstrating that they have changed their ways and no longer behead their captors to terrorize their enemies.
